Grace’s Stables and Self Catering Accommodation is set in glorious countryside approximately 2.5 miles from Roscrea, 4 miles from Shinrone and 10 miles from Birr, in the heart of the Midlands. Wonderful woodlands, streams, rivers and beautiful scenery can be found in the locality. The Slieve Bloom mountains are just a short drive away – everything the nature lover could want, whilst the N7 Dublin to Limerick main road is less than 10 minutes drive. You don’t have to be horse mad to holiday here – come for a peaceful place to relax!
Specialised horse riding clinics on site, and nearby you have fishing, walking, golf, historical sites of interest, swimming at Roscrea Leisure Centre, shopping, eating and drinking. New cycling trails are being opened among the Slieve Bloom Mountains, and Grace’s Stables and Self Catering Accommodation is the perfect base for your cycling, fishing, walking or golfing holiday.

Since 2005, husband and wife team John Joe and Jane Grace have opened up their stables to other horse owners. With the help and guidance of Offaly County Enterprise Board the Grace’s have established a successful service to the local and national equestrian community – with clients visiting from counties such as Limerick and Westmeath on a regular basis. John Joe and Jane have been experienced horse owners all of their adult life and have worked in diverse areas such as racing, stud, dressage, eventing, and riding school.A Winning Team
In May 2010 & 2011, Grace’s Equestrian Services were finalists in the Offaly County Enterprise Board’s Awards to local businesses, and are very proud recipients of a Merit Award both years!Contact Us
